For An Lcd Tv 46″ : Samsung, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sony, Lg Or Another Mark?? Which Tv Would Be Better And Why?

We want to buy an LCD TV 46″ for Christmas and want a good image, with good colors and a black color that goes well with the image… good to watch TV and high-def non-stop action movies like Crank and Quantum of Solace… and for my little sister Disney movies, too!
So right now we have the fat TVs Sony and Toshiba and like them alot but we want to switch to flat-screen Tvs now…
Is it true that Sony has too much liter colors??
Is it true that Toshiba TVs are a rip off??
Is it true that Panasonic has more problems??
Is it true that LG has a bad picture??
These are all stuff I heard on the net and want answers for… plus which do YOU consider the best for money and quality!!

Optimal Picture Settings For 46″ Samsung 650 Series Lcd?

I have had it for a little while now and while I am constantly adjusting it for different modes, I was wondering if there are optimal settings for everyday watching. Also, I was wondering why most recomend turning off features like the 120 hz. and the Digital NR to ‘Off’? Also should things like Blacklevel Adjust be to ‘Off’ or something else and Dynamic Contrast? I guess it doesn’t matter, but should all these settings be done with the mode on ‘Movie’?
