  1. Well a SAMSUNG TV set is well-supported by Samsung…and SEARS generally trains their TV techs to do it the Sears way….
    So you shouldn’t have problems with either one, and if you do….hey, you’re SUPPORTED !
    I don’t have any issues with either one…
    The people that DO HAVE ISSUES are generally the complainers….
    And most of the complainers want :
    1] A new TV set
    2] A new TV set, and all their money back.
    3] The TV repaired Yesterday, before it broke
    4] A different TV set, that they just found out is better than theirs.
    People are motivated for different reasons…
    Now what you really need to do is to look at how many people are actually satisfied by Sears…and Samsung.
    These people generally don’t complain, and they have no information on HAPPY CUSTOMERS.
    So, all you can do is look at the complaints, and see what they are really saying BELOW THE SURFACE….
    I wanted a new TV set, but Sears wouldn’t do it…
    I had to wait for the part for 6 weeks…
    I was told “In home service” and they took my TV set to the shop…
    The guy didn’t know what he was doing…
    (this coming from a guy who CERTAINLY doesn’t know anything about TV sets !)
    Read between the lines, look at the percentage of buyers vs complainers, and always remember, Sears has more than one technician…
    Some people hate me….some people like me.
    Most like me.
    Same applies to my boss…
